Youth Learn to Sew Camp

July 6 – 10, 2026
9:00 am to 4:00 pm
For Youth Aged 8 to 12 in 2026
Fee: $150.00
Location – Balmoral Bible Chapel, 2700 – 55 Street, Red Deer (Highway 11 on the East side of Red Deer)
The program will offer a balance of sewing projects and fun activities (this is not a ‘sewing bootcamp’)
All activities and project kits are included in the fee.
Youth will need to bring a sewing machine in good working order and just a few basic supplies that will be listed in the package to follow, after registration.
Youth will need to bring their lunch. Snacks and refreshments will be provided at no additional charge.
All volunteers are registering for a Vulnerable Sector Check.
The ratio of volunteers to youth is a minimum of 1 adult per 2 youth
Class size is 12 students
Parental/Guardian Waiver
A Waiver must be completed for each registered child no later than June 26th and submitted to info@centralalbertaquilters.org. This waiver will be included in a Youth Learn to Sew Camp package a few days following registration.
Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be processed for cancellation notices received on or before Sunday, June 21st.
