Central Alberta Quilters' Guild

Sharing our love of quilting

Our Central Alberta quilters' guild unites quilters each month for our meeting, show and tell and inspirational presentations. Members reap the benefits of a positive community of like-minded makers, improving their skills and sharing their knowledge. We have an extensive program of local and international instructional sessions, virtual and in-person retreats, challenges, improv bees, embroidery and hand stitching nights. The CAQG is highly responsive to the needs of the community, by donating quilts and other hand made items to worthy organizations and individuals. In the spring, we host an annual quilt show featuring beautiful quilts and a variety of vendors.

Thank you to Grace Canada

The Central Alberta Quilt Guild would like to send a huge thanks to Grace Canada.

They donated 504 spools (1500 yards each) of Finesse, 100% polyester thread in many, many beautiful colours to the Guild.

These threads will be used for the sewing of the CARE quilt tops as well as for anyone who is quilting the quilts by hand or by longarm. The CARE group constructs comfort quilts for donation to individuals and charities.
