Retreats

Join us for a sewing retreat! We gather once in the fall and once in the spring for a long weekend of sewing, fellowship and catered meals. These are held at a location usually within 30 minutes of Red Deer. Contact Susan Apperley.

There are also Sleep in Your Own Bed retreats throughout the year (SIYOB). Location is usually within City limits. You eat breakfast at home and bring a lunch and some participants go out for dinner. Contact Susan Apperley.

Virtual Retreats “Sew X” – watch Facebook, contact Program Committee.

Click here for more info. What to bring to a retreat!

Interest Groups – watch Facebook for announcements about occasional groups such as embroidery, hand stitching and others.

Social Meet Up – virtual meet-up every Sunday afternoon. Contact Tannis

Christmas Quilt – members make a block according to a supplied pattern. A quilt is constructed from all the blocks and the top is raffled off to one lucky guild member. Guild pays for quilting and recipient keeps the quilt! Contact Bev Close.

UFO Challenge – (Unfinished Objects) Our guild challenges the Stettler guild to completing (sometimes years old!) unfinished projects. Contact Tannis Porter for information on how to enter this challenge.
